You can set up an appointment in the following ways:

After making an appointment, you will receive an email from our office to fill out the intial paperwork through a secure platform. You will receive your own personal login and temporary password, which you will be prompted to change immediately when you initially log in. Once you're in, you will have access to all the paperwork that needs to be filled out and/or signed prior to the first session. All paperwork must be completed no later than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
The first session, called the Initial Intake, lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes. All sessions after the Initial Intake are up to 50 minutes.
For counseling to be the most effective, it would be recommended to meet every week. However, some people choose to meet every 2 weeks to accommodate their scheduling and financial needs.
No. However, we can provide you with a detailed, itemized invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many insurance plans have Out of Network coverage where you can receive some reimbursement back for your counseling sessions. Please check with your insurance company for further details.
The first session (Initial Intake, about 1 hour and 15 minutes) is $125, and the subsequent sessions (about 50 minutes) are $100 each session. We offer reduced rates based on annual household income, number of people in your household, and any financial difficulties. We can also adjust scheduling to accommodate financial constraints. Possibly. If there has been a divorce, separation, and/or if there is a custody agreement in place, then our office would need a copy of the custody agreement and/or divorce decree prior to starting counseling with your child. If you are a legal guardian and not the biological parent, we must have proof of guardianship of your child prior to counseling. You can upload these documents directly into your secure portal or email them to info@michellerhynescounseling.com no later than 24 hours before your child's first session.
